Memory Bear by Laronia Cohrs Laronia’s “Memory Bears” are made from a favorite garment of a loved one that has passed away.  Nothing, not even time can heal all of the pain of losing a cherished family member or friend.  However, having a loving “Memory Bear” to hug and to feel close to will certainly help ease the pain, at least a little.  "I promise that I will use the utmost care of your loved ones garments and do my very best to create a cherished keepsake that can give you solace when everything else fails."

Sizes
The large memory bear is roughly 18" (head to foot).
The small memory bear is 2-3" smaller all around.

Material
 Approximately 1½ yards or more of material is required to make the larger size bear.

About Laronia

Laronia lived and worked many years in Maryland and is now retired and living in the mountains of West Virginia where she is pursuing her love of sewing and gardening.  Depending upon the work load once she has the material she can have the finished bear back to you in approximately three weeks.
Choosing Material
Choose an item of clothing that has a special meaning for you, (knits, delicate fabrics, wedding dresses etc. are hard to work with) however if that is what you wish, I will do my best to make a bear from them.  A shirt sized garment (one half yard of more) is required to make a bear; it is suggested that you send two garments with a note stating your preference just incase one does not sew well.
